PACUCOA grants BA, LA programs level I status

Early this month, the Board of Directors of the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities – Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) has granted Emilio Aguinaldo College – Manila, a Level I status for its Business Administration and Liberal Arts programs.

In two separate letters all dated May 7, 2008, to EAC President Jose Paulo E. Campos, PACU-COA Chair Dr. Rosita L. Navarro, said that its board had reviewed the report of Dr. Conrado Inigo, chair of the accrediting team, which conducted the level I formal accreditation visit of the programs offered by the School of Business Administration and the School of Liberal Arts, last March, 2008.

The two programs have been endorsed for certification to the Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP) for such accredited status, and are recommended to enjoy the benefits as stipulated in CHED Order No. 01, Series of 2005.

The grant awarded to BA and LA programs bespeaks that EAC insofar as the two (2) programs are concerned have “satisfactorily met the standards” and they have fulfilled all the requirements of voluntary accreditation of the said accrediting body.

Signatories of the certificate are Dr. Rosita L. Navarro, Chair, and Mr. Adlai C. Castigador, PACU-COA Executive Director.
