The College of Hotel and Restaurant Management aims to produce knowledgeable, skillful and globally competitive hoteliers and restaurateurs, to meet the highest held standards of the hospitality industry and to yield students with broad character, integrity and God-fearing individuals. It is committed imparting wisdom and laying the foundation of the future generation.

The Food Laboratory was inaugurated to answer to the culinary training needs of students. Moreover, it is proud to say that EAC Manila is the only school that has a newly-built 4-Star Hotel – The Pearl Manila Hotel – to serve as training center for HRM students. Although the hospitality industry in the Philippines has suffered some crises because of inevitable circumstances, the college believes that it must continue training HRM students, providing with the best quality of education through highly-educated and experienced professors, up-to-date curricula, and modern facilities to ensure the best learning experience possible so as to provide and augment the need of the country’s travel and tourism industry, which is an important factor in the upliftment of our country’s economy.

College of Hotel and Restaurant ManagementThe College of HRM has been consistently participating in industry-related competitions, like Chef’s On Parade and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) sponsored events. Just recently it acquired a Diploma-place in the Cocktail Mixing Category at the Chef’s On Parade held at the Philippine Trade Training Center which was participated in by almost 40 different Colleges and Universities. The team of EAC HRM students won first place at the National Capital Region, first in Manila District Skills Competition. Further, the students are engaged in seminars, conventions, workshops and educational tripsbecause learning does not only take place in the four corners of the classroom.

The Hotel and Restaurant Management program provides the skills and understanding necessary for working with the lodging Food Service and Tourism Industry. The Hotel and Restaurant program offers students with a variety of practical experiences across the entire range of activities in the Hotel and Restaurant Industries.

The Lodging Industry has advanced considerably from the simple “Home Away From Home” philosophy. Over the years, technology has transformed the complex divisions in the Hotel Industry into an international tourism enterprise. Computers, economics, personnel management and interpersonal communication are all skills w/c are required for success in the Hotel and Restaurant fields.
