“We trained hard twice a day that’s why we won in these competitions”, these were the words of Coach Francisco Robrigado of the EAC Manila Taekwondo team which won awards in the recently concluded 33rd National Taekwondo Championship last July 31, 2010 at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium and MVP (Manny V. Pangilinan) Best of the Bests Taekwondo Championship last August 21, 2010 at the San Miguel By the Bay Music Hall, SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City.

In the 33rd National Taekwondo Championship, over 105 chapters, colleges and universities all over the Philippines participated in the competition. EAC won four straight wins on their way to the finals. The team was also the only team that never had a single loss in the competition thus, earning them the top spot and later taking the championship trophy.
In the MVP Best of the Bests Taekwondo Championship, over 300 best teams in the Philippines competed. The EAC Jins in the Senior Division took 3 bronze medals and 5 bronze medals in the Junior Division.
With this momentous achievement, Emilio Aguinaldo College would like to congratulate the following Emilian Taekwondo Jins: Cristyline Gilbuela, Lovelymae Capongol, Daisy Lim, Alaiza Atienza, all coming from the School of Criminology, Paula Mangulabanan, Rhea Mae Denna, both HRM students and Leslie Bumanlag, a high school student from Immaculate Conception academy (ICA).
