The Science High School Logo
The Emilio Aguinaldo College-Science High School logo was created in 2001, designed by then principal Miss Lilian G. Alfonso, the logo embodies the philosophy of the department and represents the different learning facets in which EAC-SHS seeks to train its students.
The shape of the logo as a gear represents interconnection, interaction and the departments link to the whole community. This acknowledge its part in fulfilling the thrust of the college.
The red flag with the half sun was the flag used by the Magdalo wing, a revolutionary group headed by General Emilio Aguinaldo- the first President of the Republic of the Philippines to whom our school was named after. The flag represents patriotism and nationalism, the traits that must be instilled among the students.
In keeping with the school's goal of providing students quality education in the sciences, mathematics and technology, the logo includes objects that symbolize these fields.
The Formula, E=mc², in the logo symbolizes Physics and Mathematics. The school puts emphasis on developing the interest in physics as well as mathematics that will enhance their learning in the logical world.
The Microscope in the logo denotes Biological Sciences. The school believes that the knowledge in life processes instill value and appreciation of life itself.
The Erlenmeyer flask with atomic orbital symbol stands for chemistry and its related sciences. Appreciation to our macro world starts with our in-depth learning of our micro world.
The platform balance symbolizes technology that will instill that the students must be well equipped not only in theories but also practical activities.
The open book under flask and leaves indicates communication skills, arts and values that will enhance the holistic development of the students.

The Emilio Aguinaldo College Science High School is the brainchild of the National Scientist, Dr. Paolo C. Campos. He earnestly believes that inspite of the presence of government-funded science high schools, there is still a dearth of secondary schools, which could answer the call for science and mathematics-enriched curricula for talented youth.
The dream to expand opportunities for gifted students in the sciences, mathematics and technology became a reality with the approval of the application of Dr. Jose Paulo E. Campos, President of YLFI-EAC to open the conceived science high school by DECS-NCR on April 20, 1999.
