VISION & MISSION

The School of Hotel and Restaurant Management is committed to build and develop a just, humane and responsible person through relevant and quality education; effective teaching methodologies; able to uplift the quality of living and contribute to the development of one’s country and humanity. The School of Hotel and Restaurant Management is envisioned to gear towards excellence in the development of quality Hospitality Management students who are physically, socially, mentally and emotionally equipped to face the challenges of life, and for the achievement of the best quality of life for global competitiveness.

PHILOSOPHY

The School of Hotel and Restaurant Management believes in being able to harness the talents and skills of the Filipino Youth by providing effective teaching methodologies; relevant and quality education. The School of HRM has been consistently participating in industry-related competitions, like Chef’s On Parade and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) sponsored events. Just recently it acquired a Diploma-place in the Cocktail Mixing Category at the Chef’s On Parade held at the Philippine Trade Training Center which was participated in by almost 40 different Colleges and Universities. The team of EAC HRM students won first place at the National Capital Region, first in Manila District Skills Competition. Further, the students are engaged in seminars, conventions, workshops and educational tripsbecause learning does not only take place in the four corners of the classroom.

SCHOOL OF HOTEL & RESTAURANT MANAGEMENT

The Hotel and Restaurant Management program provides the skills and understanding necessary for working with the lodging Food Service and Tourism Industry. Classroom learning is supplemented by variety of students hands-on, field trips, a student-operated restaurant and deli operation, and on-the-job training, the student is prepared for entry level management positions with training in:

The Hotel and Restaurant program offers students with a variety of practical experiences across the entire range of activities in the Hotel and Restaurant Industries. The Lodging Industry has advanced considerably from the simple “Home Away From Home” philosophy. Over the years, technology has transformed the complex divisions in the Hotel Industry into an international tourism enterprise. Computers, economics, personnel management and interpersonal communication are all skills w/c are required for success in the Hotel and Restaurant fields.
