Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) Cavite recently held a blessing ceremony for its newly renovated building aimed to accommodate its rising student population. This structure, conveniently placed at ICA North Salitran II, DasmariΓ±as, showcases the institution’s adaptive response to its growing needs.
Highly esteemed city officials and passionate leaders attended the ceremony. Among the attendees were Honorable Francisco “Kiko” A. Barzaga, DasmariΓ±as City Councilor, Dr. Genalin P. Trias, Dr. Melito A. Vergara II, both Directors of the EAC Medical Center, Ms. Celia S. Rasing, School Directress of Immaculate Conception Academy, and Dr. Judith Mary Ann R. Chan, Education Supervisor II at CHED IV A. Leading the celebration was the Dean of the School of Nursing, Dr. Arlene P. Corpus, EAC Cavite’s dynamic Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Rebecca D. Miranda, alongside unwavering and supportive EAEC President, Dr. Jose Paulo E. Campos. The deans and heads of Emilio Aguinaldo College Cavite were also in attendance.
The newly renovated building has three floors, featuring five classrooms and a dedicated reading area. Its close vicinity to the EAC Medical Center acts as a primary convenience for nursing interns performing their responsibilities. This advantageous positioning ensures aspiring nurses can blend their academic knowledge and practical skills more efficiently and effectively, thus promoting a seamless integration between classroom education and real-world practice.
Dr. Miranda emphasized in her closing remarks the strategic instruction by the Emilio Aguinaldo Educational Corporation President, Dr. Jose Paulo E. Campos, to strengthen the ties between EAC Cavite and EAC Medical Center. This vision aims to leverage practical training opportunities to enrich the educational journey of future Emilian nurses.
